Kotkamills is one of the partners of the event. Visitors will be able to come and discuss about the sustainable wood-based solutions for packaging and construction. Kotkamills also welcomes the visitors to draw plastic-free cup designs inspired by Northern nature.
The programme with music, discussion and tours of the palace awaits the festival guests. The open day will provide an opportunity to meet the President, listen to what he has to say in a panel discussion and explore his official residence. Musical highlights will include Robin Packalen, Roland Kaiser with his band, Apocalyptica and Gayle Tufts. “Bellevue Kunterbunt” will offer a colourful programme for children and young guests and numerous activities to join in with.
At the Bürgerfest, the park of Schloss Bellevue will become a stage for the ideas of the many volunteers – whether in the form of social and cultural projects, sport, education or environment. Initiatives, organisations and enterprises will showcase the contribution they make to society. The “Place of encounter” is a meeting place where people will be able to share their experiences.
Admission to the event on 31 August 2019 is free.
